Horse Creek
NO PUBLIC ACCESS, used for mentored hunting only
These two properties lie along the North Platte River and are used strictly for youth mentor and guided
disabled military. We feel it is important for us to provide them with a memorable and unforgettable
experience.
The Horse Creek properties have poor access and present a liability for use by the general public. Both
properties together consist of about 760 acres with approximately 3 miles of North Platte River
frontage, 2.5 miles of warm water sloughs and 1 mile of Horse Creek. The wildlife that are found on
these two properties include whitetail deer, wild turkey, river otter, beaver, fox, blue heron, and
numerous bird species including waterfowl. For those youth interested in a hunting experience for
whitetail deer, turkey, or waterfowl, we require you to fill out a youth mentor hunting form (found
under the Education/Mentoring section on the website) and submit it to PRBE to the attention of Bruce
Rolls 300156 Lakeside Drive Minatare, NE 69356 or call 308-631-2094. Also, hunting requests for
disabled military will be handled by Bruce Rolls. We all appreciate and thank you for your military
service. Other activities on these properties will need approval by management or the board.
